DrillOps is a business operations service for authorised mining, drilling and project personnel. It does not sell personal information or use it for advertising tracking.
Who operates DrillOps
DrillOps Pty (“DrillOps”, “we”, “us”) operates the DrillOps web and iOS applications. Organisations using DrillOps control which personnel can access their clients, projects and operational records.
Information we handle
- Account and profile information: name, work email address, organisation, role, account status and project memberships.
- Operational content: client and project details, boreholes, daily activity reports, drilling activities, comments, approvals, rejection reasons, notification preferences and related project records submitted by authorised users.
- Security and service records: sign-in and audit events, request diagnostics, IP address and basic device or browser information used to secure, operate and troubleshoot the service.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, enforce client and project permissions, process and review operational reports, send requested service notifications, maintain audit trails, provide project dashboards, protect the service and respond to support requests.
Sharing and service providers
Information is available only to authorised users and administrators within the relevant organisation, client or project. We use contracted infrastructure and communications providers to operate DrillOps, including database/authentication, hosting and email-delivery services. Providers may process information only to deliver those services or meet legal obligations.
Tracking and advertising
DrillOps does not use third-party advertising SDKs, sell personal information or track users across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted network connections and platform security controls designed to protect information. Records are retained for as long as required to provide the service, maintain project and audit history, satisfy contractual or legal requirements, and resolve disputes. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Users may ask their organisation’s DrillOps administrator to correct profile information, change project access, disable an account or request deletion where applicable. Some project, approval and audit records may need to be retained for legitimate operational, contractual or legal reasons.
Children
DrillOps is a workplace application and is not directed to children.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and our contractual arrangements to protect the information.
