DrillOps

FieldOps Privacy Policy

Effective 2 August 2026

FieldOps is designed to keep your field information on your device. The app does not require an account and the developer does not operate a server that receives your field records.

Data collection

The developer does not collect, sell, rent, use for advertising, or use for analytics any personal data from FieldOps. The app contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking.

Device permissions

The app may request access to Location, Camera, Motion and Photos. Location is used for coordinates, mapping, waypoints, navigation and user-initiated track recording. Camera is used for field photography. Motion is used for compass and angle instruments. Photos Add access is used only when you ask the app to save a photo. This information is processed on the device.

Field records and sharing

Tracks, waypoints, imported DXF layers and settings are stored locally on your device. Annotated photos are saved to your photo library when you request it. Data leaves the app only when you deliberately export or share a file, or when Apple services such as iCloud device backup are enabled under your own Apple account settings.

Apple Maps

The map uses Apple's MapKit service. Apple's handling of map service information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and platform terms.

Retention and deletion

You can delete tracks, waypoints and DXF layers inside the app. You can remove saved photographs in the Photos app. Deleting FieldOps removes its locally stored application data, subject to any device backups managed by you through Apple.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date and published policy will be updated before the changed practices apply.
